SEVN-X Welcomes Steve Foret to Our Team!

We are excited to announce that Steve Foret (“4A”) has joined the SEVN-X team. Steve will serve as the Director of Cybersecurity Strategy and Application Security Services. Across Steve’s consulting and industry experience, he has assessed, created, and directed business and cybersecurity strategies, cybersecurity operations management, product and device security, and application security. Steve has been recognized as a “big thinker” and “swiss army knife” for his outside the box thinking, breadth of experience, mentorship, and realistic and achievable direction. There’s no doubt that Steve’s perspective and approach will be invaluable to the SEVN-X team.

Steve brings with him 18+ years of global fortune 500 consulting experience (plus 2 in house cybersecurity operations and leadership) purely dedicated to designing, securing, and defending complex business environments. Steve has served in many roles while consulting including vCISO, Director of Secure Operations Center, Application Security Services, Mentor, Account Executive and more. Steve holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certifications and a former QSA.

In his free time, Steve enjoys tinkering with technology, watching Virginia Tech sports, coaching, hiking, and traveling with the family. Go Hokies!
