Mike has spent more than 40 years selling and advising on technology services, with the last decade focused on cybersecurity. He takes a consultative approach to every conversation, working with clients to prioritize their real security pain points and match them with solutions that fit. Across the Philadelphia tech community, Mike is known as a connector, and his clients return to him because he treats their problems as his own.
Background
Mike started his career at IBM in the Philadelphia Banking and Insurance Branch, then moved into technology recruiting and consulting. He went on to co-found Genesis Micro Solutions, a regional client/server and web application consulting firm that served over 75 Delaware Valley clients of all sizes. Before entering the security industry, he also helped grow the consulting practices at Entech Consulting and Intelliberg Associates.
In 2014, Mike entered the security world as a senior business development executive and worked with hundreds of organizations to address their evolving cyber risk. That work eventually brought him to SEVN-X, where he reunited with familiar faces and continues to serve many of the clients he has built relationships with over the years.
A 1980 graduate of Saint Joseph's University, Mike is also a longtime jobs expert who has written more than 5,000 resumes and mentored professionals at every career stage. Outside of work, he is an avid golfer, an accomplished bowler, and a proud "Pop Pop" to those who benefit from his guidance.
Present Day
As Senior Account Executive at SEVN-X, Mike works directly with prospects and clients to scope engagements that match their security maturity and business goals. He spends his days listening, asking sharp questions, and translating security needs into clear, actionable plans. His relationships span financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, higher education, and law, and his philosophy stays the same across all of them: meet the client where they are.
