"It's Tough When You're Trusting A Criminal!"

Ransomware recently targeted Philadelphia based company, "Law Enforcement Health Benefits". The company provides health insurance to police officers. The encrypted files contained information about Philadelphia Police Officers, Sheriffs and County Detectives, and their families including names, dates of birth, social security numbers, drivers license numbers, health insurance information, medical records, and even financial records. The ransom was paid and "Law Enforcement Health Benefits" have regained full access to their files! "It's Tough When You're Trusting A Criminal!" Matt Barnett said as he urges anyone whose information may have been compromised, to sign up for credit monitoring, freeze your credit, and beware of possible phishing emails!
